11TH ARENA: YEAR 2010


At its 11th edition Študentska arena is yet again a proof, that the young like to be educated, that they like to socialize, get to know new things and seek for new opportunities. This year' Študentska arena was visited by 17,900 visitors, who could listen to more than 85 lectures, round tables and presentations, watch 70 stage performances on the Student's Stage and be able to see what 150 exhibitors had to offer.


The novelties accompanying this year's Študentska arena were the "In Style" beauty corner, the International Thursday and the Milky concert of Slon in Sadež duet.


The young left Študentska arena full of positive impressions, since they were able to educate themself and also get entertained.
The lectures subjects, which were attended the most were: head hunters, cosmetic srecrets of communication, future vocations, presentation of pshychotherapist, employment opportunities in Belgium and Sweden, scholarships, practical education abroad, employment interviews... The most attended educational presentation od the Arena Crossing were the stand up performance Wolds Sovereign (Sveta Vladar) of Nova KBM in cooperation with Komikaze and the prize game Prava pot,, prepared by Faculty of Economics of Ljubljana.

The Student's Stage was also attended all three days, among all performances, the most visited were: Maestro Dance Studio and All That dans groups, the Dare to dream fashion show of Mladioblikovalec.com, Improleague with Študentski maestro, Slon in Sadež duet concert, White Dragons Cheerleaders show, singer Martina Šraj, stand up comedy of Tin Vodopivec, many shows of hip hop, belly dance, flamenko dance etc. We did not dance only on stage, but also in the Arena dance studio, where visitors were able to dance in the rithms of salsa, zumba, swing and pole danced.

The last day of Študentska arena we pronounced the best exhibitor of this year's Študentska arena and gave away the transitional award Zlati ščit (the Golden Shield). This special title was gave to Slovenian Police.


We also pronounced the winners of the photo contest Študentsko oko (Student's Eye). The winner with the best photo session was Ines Bratovenski, the second was Nina Stankovič, the third place, chosen by visitors, was given to Nina Stankovič.
