arena through time



11th arena: year 2010


At its 11th edition Študentska arena is yet again a proof, that the young like to be educated, that they like to socialize, get to know new things and seek for new opportunities. This year' Študentska arena was visited by 17,900 visitors, who could listen to more than 85 lectures, round tables and presentations, watch 70 stage performances on the Student's Stage and be able to see what 150 exhibitors had to offer.

10TH ARENA: YEAR 2009

 


The slogan of 10th Študentska arena was "Študentska arena among the stars" and it really was among the stars - 19.700 visitors came to see the exhibition of 140 companies and organisations and to participate in the educational programme of the event. In the educational programme the visitors had 87 lectures and workshops with 110 lecturers to choose from. Next to that over 150 performers entertained the visitors at the main stage. Very successfull was also Arena birthday party with dance and fashion show.


9TH ARENA: YEAR 2008


9th Študentska arena closed its doors on Thursday, 16th October 2008. Many organizations has participated into bulding once again a city for the youg for them to find complete informations about studying in Slovenia and abroad. If you did not participate into this great event, find out what you have been missing.

8th ARENA: year 2007

In 2007 the slogan “ZGRABI” (grab it) once again accompanied the eighth Student Arena. Number eight (8) is a symbol of infinity that got tired of lying down like a child and decided to stand up. Infinity – like an ocean of knowledge, ideas and opportunity. And this is what Student Arena is all about.

7th ARENA: year 2006


Student Arena was rejuvenated in 2006 – it was organized for the first time by Gr Inženiring d.o.o. and a new project group. According to our estimates it attracted a little over 20.000 visitors this year. The traditional Student Arena fair is constantly increasing the number of educational and accompanying events and the number of exhibitors. But most importantly, young people are showing more and more interest in the event, an undeniable proof of which is the number of visitors.

6th ARENA: year 2005


In 2005, 15.000 visitors visited the Student Arena and the biggest number of exhibitors presented themselves – 236. They presented their products and services at the typical exhibition booths and as part of individual thematic blocks: Bazaar of Spirit and Body, Career Crossroads and Cuisine Fair.

5th ARENA: year 2004


2004 was the fifth year in a row that saw the Student Arena bring together ideas and opportunities from the fields of education, employment, culture, international cooperation and free time. 25,000 young people visited the event in order to get information and actively participate in the mentioned areas. They had a chance to participate in educational events and in the sports programme, which helped them to enrich and express their personalities.

4th ARENA: year 2003


This time around, the Arena took place at the Gospodarsko Razstavišče. More than 200 organizations presented themselves at the exhibition and at the platform, which was a great success. New for this year was the Career Crossroads and cooperation with foreign universities.

3rd ARENA: year 2002


The event took place in a prefabricated building at Bežigrad, while most of the educational and cultural events took place at the nearby faculties. Despite the spread out location, Arena was visited by 12,000 visitors; more than 50 educational and cultural events were organized and were visited by 5,000 listeners. More than 160 exhibitors participated.

2nd ARENA: year 2001


Improved thematically and transformed into more structured thematic blocks, the event impressed in 2001 as well. Since then, the event has been divided into the following blocks: education, culture, entertainment and exhibition.
