The photo exhibition STUDENT EYE, which arised under the watchful eye of Študentska arena, has moved to Hostel Celica in Ljubljana city centre and will stay there until November 30^th.

This year Študentska arena attracted:

• 150 exhibitors and
• 17,900 visitors.

They were able to listen to more than 85 lectures and workshops, 70 performances on the Students' Stage, participate in creative workshops and dance lessons. All interesting moments of this year Študentska arena can be viewed at:

With a special touch of communication and an attractive exhibition space all young visitors chose Slovenian Police as their Best Exhibitor and decided to give them the transitional award Zlati Ščit (the Golden Shield).

You are kindly invited to the 11^th Študentska arena opening ceremony on October 19^th, 2010 at 1pm. The ceremony will take place on the (Študentski oder) at the Student's StageSteklena Hall (C) of the Ljubljana Exhibition and Convention Centre.

Janez Levec, Director of GR Inženiring d. o. o. and Aljoša Krdžić, President of Ljubljana's Student Organization (Študentska organizacije Univerze v Ljubljani) will present their speech to all invited. This year's Študentska arena will be opened by dr. Pavel Gantar, President of Republic of Slovenia National Assembly.

The opening ceremony will be accompanied by:

• Maestro dance group,
• Athletic-gymnastic Club Panter,
• teenager group Uporniki,
• energetic singer Vesna Kociper,
• Mladi Oblikovalec group fashion show Dare to dream.

At this year 11^th Študentska arena the young will have many opportunities to take. After the early-bird application deadline being a real success since almost 70 participants already decided to take part in, Študentska arena prooved to still be the biggest educational fair event in Slovenia.

10^th Študentska arena was really among the stars - 19.700 visitors came to see the exhibition of 140 companies and organisations and to participate in the educational programme of the event. In the educational programme the visitors had 87 lectures and workshops with 110 lecturers to choose from. Next to that over 150 performers entertained the visitors at the main stage. Very successfull was also Arena birthday party with dance and fashion show.

11^th Študentska arena will take place from 19 to 21 October 2010 at the Ljubljana Exhibition and Convetion Centre (Gospodarsko razstavišče), Slovenia.
