 Social games are not intended only for children, in fact adults often enjoy themselves, with dice or cards, more than youngsters do. Social games are a great way to spice up any gathering, including the one taking place at the Študentska Arena. At the exhibition area, visitors will be able to take part in different social games as well as in occasional competitions in prize games with prizes for the best competitors. |

 They say a picture can tell more than 1,000 words. This year, Študentska Arena has challenged all the young prospective photographers in a special way – to tell the story of these crazy study years with just 3 photos. The best ten photo stories, chosen by a jury, will be put on display at a special exhibition during the Študentska Arena event. You can see and choose the best photo story on our web page here >>.
Together with the two main prizes awarded by a jury, a third prize will be presented for the best photo story chosen by the web page visitors. All three winners will be richly awarded, so choose who you are going to reward! |

• ABOUT THE BOOK
Created by: The Faculty of Natural Sciences and Technology, University of Ljubljana, Department of Textiles
Ljubljana is this year's world book capital. Students of textiles and dress design at the NTF Department of Textiles took part in the "Ljubljana- World Book Capital 2010" event with a fashion show and some exhibitions.
At the Študentska Arena exhibition you will be able to see the video of the fashion show About the Book, as well as the dresses from different collections where students have developed their own interpretation and understanding of the book. Different stories took place – books which you can unfold and become tridimensional modern clothes.

| ARENA STUDENTS' CHAMPIONSHIP OF TABLE FOOTBALL |

 Are you good with our hands? Are you prepared to compete in a new sport, a sport you have probably already competed in but you don't know? This year too, at the Študentska Arena, a friendly tournament of table football – bar entertainment getting its sport status – will be organized. The tournament is organized together with the Slovenia Table Football League, whose members may show you some indefensible tricks. If you can already master everything, then you are the right person to apply and try to win the super prizes awarded by Wottshop Veršec Olga S. P. company for the pairs tournament that will take place on Wednesday 20th October 2010 at 4.30 pm. The number of participants is limited so sign up for it on the day of the tournament. |

 Dance and music are tightly linked together. Dance means meeting. It awakens feelings like laughter, joy and satisfaction. Moving to the rhythm has a magic effect on us. When dancing in a group, we can feel a strong feeling of unity. Moving is the basic and important guidance for dancing. We know numerous types of dance: ethnic, social, carnival and popular dances, ballet, jazz, sport and scene dances. As YOU DON'T SEE BUT FEEL the beauty of dance, you are invited to Arena Dance Studio, where recognized and well known choreographers will teach you different dance steps and the above-mentioned different types of dance.
